HOW TO GET INVOLVED
- Review the Chapter's Legislative Priorities (above)
- Become active in the Chapter. Attend advocacy events or join a committee
- Identify local elected officials for outreach about issues.
- Contact local officials through Chapter Call to Action requests (via email)
- Develop a resolution
- Medical Students and Residents - Apply for the NYACP Steven Walerstein, MD, MACP Advocacy Internship
- Contact NYACP for assistance with identifying important bills, writing resolutions, and guidance on advocacy involvement.
