Leadership
The Council / Board of Directors consists of physician volunteer leaders entrusted to represent and actively engage the membership of the New York Chapter American College of Physicians. The Council / Board sets policy and provides leadership, including planning strategically for the Chapter’s growth; determining the mission, goals, and priorities; and allocating resources in line with those priorities.
The Chapter is organized into 5 "regions" and 16 "districts" allowing for immediate access to local physician leadership.
Manhattan/Bronx Region
Represents members in NYACP Districts of Manhattan North, Manhattan South and the Bronx
Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island Region
Represents members in NYACP Districts of Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island
Long Island Region
Represents members in NYACP Districts of Nassau East, Nassau West and Suffolk
Hudson Valley Region
Represents members in NYACP Districts of Hudson Valley Capital, Hudson Valley Central and Hudson Valley South
Upstate Region
Represents members in NYACP Districts of Buffalo, Rochester, Southern Tier and Syracuse
